The history of chocolate

-Chocolates, a sweet food that could be sweet or bitter. One of the sweetest food, 100% appropriate as a desert because it could be also served in a cold, hot or normally way. But, it have a looomg history to become one of the most popular food.

-Chocolates was 1st belongs to the natives that live at Mexico. By the 15th century, the Aztecs gained control of a large part of Mesoamerica and adopted cacao into their culture. The Aztecs were not able to grow cacao themselves, as their home in the Mexican highlands was unsuitable for it, so chocolate was a luxury imported into the empire. Those who lived in areas ruled by the Aztecs were required to offer cacao seeds in payment of the tax they deemed "tribute". Cocoa beans were often used as currency.
Other types of chocolate

When Christopher Columbus came to America (also known as "the new worlds") on 1492,the Europeans follow him in search for rare and useful items such as gold, herbs & food material and many more. The items that was founded at America was imported to Europe, Chocolates were one of the them.

-Chocolate has become one of the most popular food types and flavors in the world, and a vast number of foodstuffs involving chocolate have been created. Cocoa is the main raw material in Chocolate making, that's why most chocolate maker company use cocoa to make their sweet or pure chocolate.  Pure, unsweetened chocolate contains primarily cocoa solids and cocoa butter in varying proportions. Much of the chocolate consumed today is in the form of sweet chocolate, combining chocolate with sugar.

-The word "chocolate" entered the English language from Spanish. The word "chocolatl" does not occur in central Mexican colonial sources, making this an unlikely derivation.

Chocolate cake
-Same as many other foods, people make many kinds of chocolate dishes. Such as: Chocolate ice cream, Hot chocolate, chocolate pudding, chocolate jam & many more dishes. However, most sweet chocolate dishes were mixed with dark chocolate to make more varieties. Dark chocolates and sweetened chocolate were the most common variety of chocolate.
