  3. 90% of underground train scenes are shot in New York. Incidentally, the underground train network is called the 'subway' in New York, while Los Angeles and Washington call theirs metros.
  4. In some parts of the USA, most people who live in condominiums and apartments are poor people, like singles and the newly married. However, in Manhattan, such residences are the realm of the rich & mighty.
  5. Casinos have a lot of leeway in Las Vegas and Atlantic city, but elsewhere, they are heavily regulated.
  6. The 4th of July, being the date of the Declaration of Independence, is one of that psychologically important to Americans. Movies based on themes of Independence and heroism is commonly shown on that date.

This is because most of those houses are in tornado-prone places (in fact, one stretch of the Midwest called Tornado alley), and wooden/plywood houses are easier to rebuild. People often hide in Underground shelters at such times.

  9. The seven rays on the crown of the Statue of Liberty represent the seven continents. Each measures up to 9 feet in length and weighs as much as 150 pounds.
